Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has dubbed the club’s last 16 Champions League tie against AC Milan "a great challenge". Spurs could have expected an easier draw at UEFA HQ, but Milan, currently top of Serie A and flying with new boys Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho, present a tough task for the Premier League side.

However, Redknapp was looking at the positives, arguing that no matter who Spurs got they would have been in for a difficult game. The former Portsmouth manager also said that he had stated before the draw that he wouldn’t mind meeting Milan.

"It’s a great draw and we knew that would be the case whoever we came out against"
, said Redknapp to the club’s official site. "This is an exciting game to look forward to. AC Milan have a fantastic record in the competition, they are top of the league in Italy and are full of quality players.

"It’s a great challenge for us. I said before the draw that I wouldn’t mind playing AC Milan."
