Borussia Dortmund’s young Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa can add another name to his list of admirers – that of Real Madrid. Kagawa has been turning heads since he arrived in Germany for the bargain price of €350,000 in the summer, and has made a big impression in the Bundesliga and Europa League.

The 21-year-old has now attracted the attention of Real Madrid according to Madrid based daily Marca. Los Blancos sent scout Paco Garcia to watch Kagawa in action for Dortmund recently and received a glowing report.

However, Real Madrid will most probably face La Liga opposition should they move to firm up their interest. Valencia, Barcelona and Sevilla are also believed to have had Kagawa watched and will not sit idly by while Jose Mourinho snaps up yet another young talent.
