Turkish giants Trabzonspor are weighing up a move for Partizan Belgrade’s Brazilian striker Cleo. The 25-year-old has further enhanced his reputation this season in the Champions League, despite his side finishing bottom of their group.

The 25-year-old spent several seasons in Portuguese football without much success, but finally started to show real promise following a loan move to Red Star Belgrade in 2008. Snapped up by Red Star’s bitter rivals Partizan in 2009, Cleo has since found the back of the net regularly in Serbian football and has attracted the attention of a raft of bigger clubs.

Turkish Super Lig leaders Trabzonspor are looking to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window in order to solidify their grip on the league table and bag a first title since 1984.
