Retired striker Christian Vieri has again been linked with a move to a Brazilian club. It was rumoured last year that the former Italy international would come out of retirement to turn out for a Brazilian side, with both Botafogo and Boavista Sport Club linked with deals for the 37-year-old. However, much talk led to nothing, as Vieri declined to sign for either club.

Now rumours have surfaced once again in Lance, that suggest Vieri could ink a deal for the 2011 campaign with third division club Boavista.

Vieri coming out of retirement to play for a lower league Brazilian side would be a shock, however Boavista are intent on capturing the former Juventus striker and believe he could prove a valuable asset and swell attendances.
