Manchester City full back Wayne Bridge has emerged as a target for Juventus, who will join Aston Villa and Valencia in monitoring the 30-year-old’s situation at Eastlands.

Bridge is reported to have recently turned down a switch to West Ham, believing that he will soon have better options on the table, and one of those could well be the Old Lady.

Juventus are looking to strengthen the left side of their defence and Fabio Grosso has been linked with a move to Spanish side Malaga in recent days, which could make their need more pressing.

Old Lady coach Luigi Delneri apparently believes Bridge’s technical knowledge, gained through involvement in England’s national team, would help him adjust to Serie A without difficulty.
