AC Milan have loaned American defender Oguchi Onyewu to Dutch side FC Twente for the rest of the season. The USA international missed playing time through injury with the Rossoneri last season and a loan move was felt to be beneficial for both parties.
Onyewu was also involved in a training ground incident with Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic earlier this season, though any suggestion of trouble between the duo was dismissed by the Serie A club.
American international Onyewu will be keen to get some games under his belt, but even so, a long term future at the San Siro looks unlikely and the 28-year-old will want to impress with Twente.
