Werder Bremen could be set to move for old boy Miroslav Klose according to reports in the German media today. The Germany striker is expected to leave the Allianz Arena where he turns out for Bayern Munich in search of more playing time.

Klose played for Werder between 2004 and 2007 before heading to Munich. At Bayern the 32-year-old has never been as prolific in front of goal as he was with Werder, but he has regularly broken records for the German national team, scoring time and time again in major tournaments.

The striker is also being tracked by Lazio and Juventus, while there were even suggestions Real Madrid could take him to Spain. Werder however, are confident that they can persuade their former star to return to the Weserstadion.
