Galatasaray are continuing their hunt for a new striker and, according to reports in the Dutch press, have been offered the services of Ajax hitman Mounir El Hamdaoui.

New Ajax coach Frank de Boer is believed to feel that El Hamdaoui could be allowed to leave the club, and the Dutch side will look to recoup the entire €5M that they paid to AZ to bring in the Moroccan last summer, with the player penning a four-year deal.

El Hamdaoui has made 17 appearances for the Amsterdam club since joining, finding the back of the net on eleven occasions.
