Reports from Holland suggest that Inter are still in the hunt for Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel. Earlier this month Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti had said that despite the Dutchman being a fine player, at 33 he was too old for the Italian side.
Now Voetbal International report that Inter are reconsidering that position and could be involved in the chase for Van Bommel.
The Dutchman looks unlikely to leave the Allianz Arena this January, but could well exit Germany in the summer. At that time, Inter would be expected to face competition from several English clubs and possibly even Serie A rivals AC Milan.
