Real Madrid have added Diego Forlan to the names they are looking at for striking reinforcements, but the Uruguayan would prove the most expensive of those under consideration.
According to L’Equipe, Los Blancos have discussed Forlan and sounded out rivals Atletico Madrid, with the conclusion being that an offer of €15M would be needed to snap up the 2010 World Cup Golden Ball winner.
Nevertheless, Forlan is included on a list with Miroslav Klose, Luis Fabiano and Ruud van Nistelrooy as Real Madrid decide which move would suit them best to cover the six month hole left by Gonzalo Higuain’s injury.
