Following news from Germany that veteran midfielder Mauro Camoranesi can leave Stuttgart, Serie A side Brescia are taking a keen interest in the former Juventus schemer.

Camoranesi has had a difficult time in Stuttgart, with the team flopping badly and Christian Gross being sacked as coach earlier this season. Following a harsh winter training camp, the Bundesliga side’s sporting director Fredi Bobic confirmed that the midfielder can leave the club providing the right offer is made – Camoranesi is out of contract at the end of the season.

Brescia, keen to boost their bid against relegation from Serie A, are considering sending a €2M bid to Stuttgart, and hope Camoranesi will be open to the challenge.
