Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is involved in a transfer row with the Spanish club which could even lead to his departure in the summer. However, Los Blancos goalkeeper Iker Casillas believes that the Portuguese coach is still happy in Madrid.

Problems have developed at the Bernabeu over the fact that Mourinho desperately wants another striker to arrive in the Spanish capital this month. And despite President Florentino Perez softening his stance over the issue – Perez previously was insistent that Karim Benzema should get a chance to spearhead the attack – no striker has yet arrived.

"I’m not the one to speak about strikers", said Mourinho. "I did that in pre-season when I said we needed more than two, and in November, when we all knew we needed to give [Gonzalo] Higuain time to recover. So I am not saying anything. You can speak to the people who send messages. I’ve got to where I am because I think for myself. I’m too old for them to send me messages in the newspapers."

However, despite the upheaval, Real keeper Casillas believes Mourinho remains happy and won’t leave Spain in the summer.

"He wants to say and Madrid want him to stay, and I say that as the captain", said Casillas.
