New AC Milan signing Urby Emanuelson has said he is delighted to have been bought by the Rossoneri and is confident that he can help the Serie A club to collect some silverware this season.
Emanuelson, who can play at left back in addition to his more familiar left wing position, has cost Milan €1.5M to buy from Ajax and looks a snip at the price.
"This is a dream come true", said Emanuelson. "Milan is one of the best clubs in the world and I am honoured to be here. Everything went quickly. Milan called me on Wednesday and on Saturday the deal was all but done. I hope to have many great performances here and will give everything to bring trophies to the team."
And the Dutchman said he was at Milan to win titles, something he had failed to do with Ajax over the last six seasons.
"I’m here to win titles, with Ajax in the last six seasons I failed to win the title."
