Inter are interested in Sevilla’s Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano, but admit that there appears little chance of the player ending up at the San Siro.

Nerazzurri coach Leonardo is open to the arrival of another striker to boost a title bid which once again stumbled with a 3-1 defeat at Udinese at the weekend. Luis Fabiano is the name being considered and Sevilla have been sounded out through the Brazilian’s agent about a move. However, it is thought the Spanish club’s demands are too high for Inter.

"Luis Fabiano?", said Inter technical director Marco Branca when questioned about the possibility. "There are a few chances for him to be at Inter, but not many."

Should Sevilla lower their demands before the window closes though, it remains possible Luis Fabiano could yet make a late switch to Italy.
