Bayern Munich are reported to be closing in on the signature of Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko. The 21-year-old has earned rave reviews for his performances with the Ligue 1 side and these have not gone unnoticed in Munich.
The Allianz Arena outfit would have to pay a fee of close to €9M to ensure Sissoko’s signature, but are understood to feel that if they were to hold off then the player’s price would rise as he continued to improve.
Sissoko has already been the subject of much interest across Europe, with Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Inter and Juventus all expressing an interest in the midfielder before the 2009/10 campaign got under way.
Should Bayern be able to secure Sissoko’s signature then it will be something of a coup.
