Barcelona midfielder Pedro has stated his opposition to ever playing for Real Madrid. The 23-year-old winger-cum-forward is committed to the Catalan club and explained that, even if he were not, a switch to Los Blancos would be unthinkable.
"I would never go to Real Madrid, not for any price", explained Pedro when questioned by Don Balon magazine recently. "I want to win everything with this club."
A product of Barcelona’s youth academy having arrived on the Spanish mainland from Tenerife when he was 17, Pedro has impressed with the Camp Nou club, breaking through into the senior Spain squad. Able to kick just as well with either foot, Pedro can operate across the midfield for Barcelona, making him an invaluable asset.
