Bordeaux are eyeing a late move for Besiktas’ Brazilian striker Bobo according to reports from France. The 25-year-old is a player the Ligue 1 side’s coach Jean Tigana is familiar with from his time coaching the Black Eagles in Turkey and he has been altered to his availability.

According to Sud-Ouest, Bordeaux are ready to move for Bobo, but are expected to face opposition from Brazilian side Corinthians.

Bobo moved to the Istanbul club in 2006, heading to Turkey from Corinthians. In that time he has been prolific in the Turkish Super Lig, regularly finding the back of the net and excelling. However, following the arrival of Hugo Almeida at Besiktas, the door may well be open for Bobo to leave if he so chooses.
