Juventus are pondering entering the race for the in-demand Brazilian striker Neymar this summer. Both Barcelona and Chelsea have been heavily linked with moves for the youngster – the Stamford Bridge side saw Neymar refuse a move to England last year to stay Santos for the 2011 campaign, a decision which caused tears and hugs in the player's family.

However, Neymar's desire to remain with Santos for the whole of the 2011 Brazilian season, and Santos' will to keep hold of him, looks set to be tested once again in the summer. And despite the player's agent stating he felt a move in 2011 was unlikely, the amount of money likely to be on offer could cause a U-turn.

Both Barcelona and Chelsea are expected to try again in the summer and now Juventus are considering joining the bidding. Opening offers will be around the €22M mark, with Santos hoping to drive up the price for Neymar, who turns 19 this weekend.
