Reports from Spain suggest that Barcelona have set their sights on two players from Brazil’s Under-20 squad as they look to ensure their stay at the top of the European game continues.

The Camp Nou giants are tracking Santos’ impressive striker Neymar and his Brazil Under-20 team-mate Lucas, who turns out for Sao Paulo.

Neymar is expected to be in demand this summer, with Chelsea ready to break the bank for the striker. He has not been without his share of troubles at Santos, but the 19-year-old has so far opted to remain in Brazil rather than seek his fortune abroad. Interest from Barcelona though could well change that.

Lucas, an 18-year-old attacking midfielder from Sao Paulo, has also begun to make waves in much the same way as Neymar some twelve months ago, and Barcelona have kept a close eye on his progress.

Should the Catalans wish to buy both players in the summer, they will surely be looking at paying out a total of around €60M to take Neymar and Lucas to Spain.
