Barcelona midfield schemer Andres Iniesta believes that the Camp Nou side should once again aim to win the treble this season.

Winning the Champions League, La Liga and the Copa del Rey was a feat managed by Josep Guardiola in his first season in charge, with Iniesta playing a pivotal role – and the midfielder wants to do it again.

"It’s good to have hope for the treble", said Iniesta to Esport3, "but we have to be mindful that it is very difficult. But why not think about the treble?"

The 2008/09 season saw Barcelona pick up all three trophies and Iniesta believes that the Catalan club must hold on to the architect of that famous campaign – Josep Guardiola.

"We all want him to continue for a long time", said Iniesta.
