AC Milan have received news they did not want to hear as star Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that he is "tired". The Swede has looked below par in his last two games for the Rossoneri and it appears the task of dragging Milan to the Serie A title is taking its toll.
"I feel very tired and we have seen this in the last two games", said Ibrahimovic after Sweden’s 2-0 friendly win over Cyprus.
Milan will need Ibrahimovic firing on all cylinders given the rise of Inter under Leonardo. The Nerazzurri are still capable of overhauling their old rivals and the Rossoneri’s dependence on Ibrahimovic to pull them out of sticky situations has led some to question whether without him they would still top the table.
