Marseille defender Souleymane Diawara appears to have played down the possibility of a move to Turkey. The 32-year-old has been attracting glances from some of the Super Lig’s biggest clubs and an approach is expected at the end of the season.
But Diawara has insisted that he is focused entirely on the Stade Velodrome outfit and their Ligue 1 campaign.
"A move to Turkey?", said Diawara when questioned on rumours of a switch. "I still have another two-year contract with Marseille and I’m really happy here.
"I’ve not had contact with any Turkish club and now I just aim to help my team repeat our successes from last season."
