Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg are interested in securing the services of AC Milan’s veteran midfielder Clarence Seedorf.

Out of contract with Milan in the summer, the former Real Madrid midfield dynamo could form part of a new-look Wolfsburg as they hope to once again compete at the top end of the Bundesliga next season.

Having recently sacked coach Steve McClaren, Wolfsburg are in no doubt that a revolution on the pitch is required too and Seedorf, who has huge experience within the game, could help to shape their next generation – so goes the thinking at the Volkswagen Arena.

The Dutchman’s attitude to a switch to German football is unknown, but Wolfsburg will do all they can to tempt Seedorf to leave Italy.
