Blackburn Rovers are taking a keen interest in Swedish midfielder Rasmus Elm, but would seem certain to face opposition from Lazio.
Elm currently turns out in the Dutch Eredivisie for AZ and is an established Swedish international. The player has been approached by Lazio several times in the past, however the Rome giants have so far failed to get their man.
Now Premier League outfit Blackburn believe Elm could be tempted to swap Holland for England at the end of the current campaign. The Swede would not come cheap though, with AZ set to demand a fee of at least €6M for his services.
