Sevilla are keen to join the summer race for Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez and believe there is every chance that the 25-year-old will be on his way out of the Allianz Arena.
Gomez has enjoyed a less than tranquil relationship with Bayern boss Louis van Gaal and was the subject of several failed bids on transfer deadline day, bids that would not have arrived if clubs did not believe the striker was ready to leave.
La Liga giants Sevilla could face opposition from Chelsea and Liverpool for Gomez’ signature however, and it does seem that whoever wins the race for the former Stuttgart striker will have to send a considerable sum to Munich.
