Jose Mourinho is keen to take Mohamed Sissoko from Juventus to Real Madrid as he steps up his search for a midfield destroyer.

Mourinho is well aware of Sissoko’s abilities having seen him at close quarters when the Mali man turned out for Liverpool during the period that the Portuguese coached Chelsea. And a bustling presence in the midfield is exactly what Mourinho thinks Los Blancos could do with as an option.

With Juventus having shown interest previously in Los Blancos midfielder Lassana Diarra, there have even been suggestions Mourinho is ready to offer the France star in a swap deal for Sissoko, such is his determination to land the 26-year-old.

The Real Madrid boss is also looking closely at another Juventus player in the form of Giorgio Chiellini as he bids to boost his defensive line. Indeed, the indications are that Juventus and Real Madrid could be doing considerable business this summer.
