Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for Palermo’s midfielder Josip Ilicic. The 23-year-old has performed well for the Serie A side since moving from Maribor in the summer in a double deal that also included Armin Bacinovic, and is quickly forging a reputation for himself.

The Slovenian shot to prominence through good displays against Juventus, Fiorentina and Roma this season, and has regularly chipped in with goals from midfield.

The German giants have taken notice of Ilicic’s progress and are believed to value the Slovenian at €10M. Should Palermo accept that figure is an adequate one, then Ilicic could well be on his way to Munich in the summer. The midfielder has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
