Chased by Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, Lille winger Eden Hazard will have his pick of destinations in the summer – and should also add Bayern Munich to that list.

The German giants have long been tracking the progress of the Belgian winger and again dispatched scouts to watch Hazard in action against Montpellier on Sunday. It was a game Lille lost 1-0, but the 20-year-old’s quality is not in doubt, and his Ligue 1 side are expected to extract a hefty price from the winning bidder.

Under contract until 2014, Bayern will have to splash the cash should they want to beat interest from England and take Hazard to the Bundesliga. It is something they are familiar with, having won a big-money race for Franck Ribery in 2007. Repeating the trick would delight the Allianz Arena outfit.
