German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly running the rule over Lyon’s Swedish midfield schemer Kim Kallstrom as they plot their end of season transfer targets.

The French side bought Kallstrom in 2006 from fellow Ligue 1 side Rennes and the 28-year-old has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Stade Gerland for the past 18 months. While Lyon’s feeling on Kallstrom’s sale is not known, the Germans could test the water with a bid.

Bayern are believed to value Kallstrom at around €12M, a price that may well match Lyon’s valuation of the Swedish international.
