Bayern Munich look likely to secure the long-term stay of highly rated midfielder Toni Kroos.

The Allianz Arena outfit are in talks with Kroos’ representatives over extending the youngster’s deal by another four years, with the 21-year-old offered a contract running until 2015.

Kroos has convinced Bayern that he has a bright future in the game and the Bundesliga giants want to guard against any interest from foreign clubs, The Germany international shot to prominence last season with a loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen.

He notched his first league goal for the Bavarians earlier this season, hitting home a crisp 25-yard strike against Freiburg.
