Santos’ Brazilian attacking midfielder Ganso has stated his determination to stay with the club for another two years, playing down interest from Internazionale.

The 21-year-old has been tipped as the next big thing in Brazilian football and has a whole host of admirers across Europe, but for now it seems his future remains in his homeland.

"I’ve never been dissatisfied, I just wanted to renew my contract and improve my contract and improve my conditions", Ganso said to Radio Globo when speaking about staying at Santos.

"Santos will always be in my heart. I’m going to stay here for two more years."

But the Brazilian did admit to often speaking to countryman and Inter coach Leonardo on occasion and a move to Europe is on his agenda.

"Leonardo? I often speak with him. He gives me various tips that help me improve my work on and off the pitch. But that does not mean I go to Inter.

[However], it’s logical that I would like to play for some big club in Europe, but for now, I do not want to force the situation and I want to let things continue as they are."
