Marseille defender Taye Taiwo is believed to prefer a move to the Premier League in the summer rather than making a switch to Serie A.
English and Italian clubs are interested in Taiwo’s services and the player is expected to quit the Stade Velodrome.
Heading the queue of sides watching the situation with interest are Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Liverpool. And should the 25-year-old Nigerian prefer to move to the Premier League, then Italian teams will quickly drop their plans for the Marseille man.
Taiwo was on the verge of moving to Atletico Madrid last summer, but the transfer broke down. This coming summer however, Taiwo will finally leave France.
