Bayern Munich are insistent that Arjen Robben will not be leaving the Allianz Arena this summer.

The Dutchman has been linked with a move away from the club in the event that Bayern should fail to make the Champions League spots in this season’s Bundesliga.

AC Milan in particular have been mooted as a possible destination, with Robben’s countryman and former Bayern team-mate Mark van Bommel urging the winger to make the switch.

But Bayern are determined that Robben will not be sold, whatever happens.

"We want to be in the Champions League and we must do everything we can to achieve that", said chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to Bild.

"But one thing is one hundred per cent certain: Arjen Robben will play next season at Bayern, whatever happens."
