La Liga side Getafe have confirmed that they are now under foreign ownership after Getafe Sport, which controls 99.3% of the club, agreed to sell their stake to Middle Eastern group Royal Emirates.
President Angel Torres announced the news whilst confirming he will initially continue as chief at the Spanish side.
Royal Emirates, chaired by a member of the Al-Maktoum royal family, are also ready to hoover up the remaining shares to take 100% control of the club. The deal is estimated to have cost the Middle Eastern group between €70-90M.
