Serie A duo Lazio and Juventus are ready to move for Emmanuel Adebayor if the Togo striker does not complete a permanent move to Real Madrid, according to reports from Italy.
The Manchester City hitman is currently on loan at the Bernabeu, but despite making public his wish to remain at the club beyond the end of the season his future remains unclear. What does appear certain however is that City boss Roberto Mancini is prepared to consent to the former Arsenal man’s departure.
And according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio and Juventus have added Adebayor to their list of potential targets for the summer. Lazio are keen to snap up an experienced striker, feeling that, at times this season, a lack of know-how has let them down with the Rome club slipping out of the Serie A title race following a promising start.
Juventus meanwhile have long rated Adebayor and, with a freshening up needed in Turin to compete for a Champions League spot next season, the Togo striker may well fit the bill.
