Real Madrid have confirmed the arrival of Turkish international Hamit Altintop on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old was out of contract with Bayern Munich and emerged as a target of Jose Mourinho in the last month. And the Portuguese has moved quickly to tie up the deal and take the midfielder to the Bernabeu.
With no fee to be paid the deal has been able to be completed quickly by Los Blancos and Altintop has signed a four-year contract at the club.
The midfielder is Mourinho’s second signing of the summer after fellow Turkish international Nuri Sahin arrived from Borussia Dortmund.
