Argentine striker Diego Milito has played down speculation that he could leave Inter this summer.

Milito was thought to be unhappy over previous Nerazzurri coach Rafael Benitez, but suffered with injuries too which affected his playing time. However, under current boss Leonardo, the striker appears to be happy once again.

There had been growing talk though that Milito could still head away from Inter at the end of the season, with former coach Jose Mourinho pondering taking the player to Real Madrid. But for Milito, the future is blue and black.

"The season is over now and, unfortunately, I had too many injuries", said the Argentine.

"However, I am pleased with Inter’s results and I am looking forward to my future here.

"I will be in top form next season. Contrary to media speculation, I will remain at Inter and I have no reason to leave.

"Besides, I am under contract until June 2014."
