Talk from Portugal suggests that FC Porto midfielder Joao Moutinho is being tracked by both AC Milan and Chelsea.

The 24-year-old was a key figure in Porto’s unbeaten league run this season and Treble success, with the Europa League also arriving at the club in style.

This has not gone unnoticed in Milan or London, with Chelsea’s hopes of snapping up the Portuguese star boosted by the arrival of his former coach Andre Villas-Boas at Stamford Bridge.

But Villas-Boas could well face opposition from the Rossoneri, with Milan themselves keen to add fresh blood and impetus to their midfield, especially with a serious tilt at the Champions League expected next season by the club’s management.

Porto are sure to fight hard to keep hold of the Portuguese international, fearful of seeing their successful side torn apart now that Villas-Boas has departed.
