Brazil star Neymar has declared his current thinking is to stay with Santos and snub a big-money move to Europe.

Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Anzhi Makhachkala are all thought to have met the 19-year-old’s buy-out clause of €45M, meaning they can speak freely with the striker.

But despite much speculation that that would mean Neymar would head to Europe after this summer’s Copa America, the forward himself is seriously thinking of staying at Santos for a little longer, especially with the Club World Cup in December following the Brazilian club’s winning of the Copa Libertadores.

"I have a contract with Santos and I think I’ll stay", revealed Neymar under questioning about his future.

And then the striker turned his attention to the Club World Cup, where Santos could meet European Champions Barcelona.

"First of all we will have a semi-final to be played before we get to Barcelona.

"We will have to maintain concentration because it will certainly be a huge challenge.

"When you think of Barcelona they are very strong and have players like [Lionel] Messi and Dani Alves. It will be an honour to face them."
