PSV Eindhoven boss Dick Advocaat is excited to see what new signing Luciano Narsingh can produce at the Philips Stadion.

Narsingh is arriving in Eindhoven from Heerenveen for a fee of just €4.1M; the Frisians were forced into selling the winger as he had just one year left on his contract and was refusing to sign an extension.

Now the Holland international will attempt to step up to producing consistent performances at the higher level demanded by a PSV side with winning the Dutch title on their mind.

Advocaat has spoke positively of the impact he believes the winger can have in Eindhoven.

“With Narsingh we’ll have more options up front”, Advocaat told AD.

“Until now we’ve not been able to vary things much up front. With him we can push up some more.”

And the PSV boss is also impressed with the calibre of player his side are signing.

“Narsingh is 21 years old and a very talented player”, said the former Russia coach.

“It is not for nothing that he has already been with the national team – at Heerenveen Narsingh did an outstanding job.

“PSV are getting a very good player.

“Now we’ll see if he can step up to a higher level. That will be interesting to see.”
