Robinho has called for Kaka to join him at AC Milan.

The former Manchester City striker believes that if the midfielder chose to return to the Rossoneri, the club he turned out for before signing for Real Madrid in 2009, the pair would do sensational things and it would also hand a boost to both their international ambitions for the 2014 World Cup.

Both Robinho and Kaka are up against it to claim a starting berth in Mano Menezes’ World Cup team, especially with the Milan man having to battle against Leandro Damiao, Neymar, Hulk and Alexandre Pato, while Kaka faces opposition from Lucas Moura, Oscar and Ganso.

Unlike Robinho at Milan though, Kaka is not guaranteed minutes on the pitch at Real Madrid, something which has led to the 30-year-old being linked with returning to the Rossoneri.

And that is something which would delight Robinho.

"I would be delighted", said the striker.

"We are team-mates in the Brazil team. We can do great things together. Especially right now, because we both want to prepare ourselves for the next World Cup."

Brazil are set to host the 2014 edition and being involved would mean everything to Kaka and Robinho.
