Lyon coach Remi Garde admits that flying Brazilian full-back Michel Bastos could quickly leave the club this summer.
Les Gones are looking to cut costs, something which has intensified with the club out of the Champions League.
Swedish midfielder Kim Kallstrom has been sold, while goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is available for the right price. There has also been talk that defender Dejan Lovren could leave the Stade Gerland.
Bastos too has been linked with the exit door and it did seem he could land in the Middle East with Al Ain.
That could still happen and Garde admits he could lose the Brazilian from one day to the other.
"He is still a Lyon player", said the coach.
"It could also be, that from one minute to another he becomes not an OL player."
Bastos has been linked with a number of clubs over the last 12 months and almost joined Juventus at one point.
The 29-year-old signed for Lyon in 2009 from Lille.
