Legendary Serbian coach Dusan Bajevic has promised English Premier League side Newcastle United not to expect an easy ride when they meet Greek outfit Atromitos in the Europa League.
Bajevic’s Atromitos have been drawn against Alan Pardew’s Newcastle in the Europa League playoff round and the Greek club are well aware of the threat posed by the Magpies.
And while the Super League side have a tough task on their hands coming out on top. Bajevic has insisted that his men are in no mood to surrender already.
"It is a tough draw", said the man who has won eight Greek titles with two different clubs.
"Once we learned about the possible candidates, we knew our opponents would be hard no matter who came our way.
"English football is popular worldwide and has its own characteristics, but we will not surrender.
"We will try with all our might. We have a chance and I think we will be ready by the time the first game comes round at home."
Bajevic is a hugely experienced coach, having bossed a whole host of clubs including AEK Athens, Olympicaos, Red Star Belgrade and Aris Salonika.
