Karim Benzema does not know why Cristiano Ronaldo feels "sad" at Real Madrid, but is confident the Portuguese’s concerns will be addressed.
Ronaldo did not celebrate either of his goals in Real Madrid’s recent 3-0 win over Granada and later claimed that was because he was feeling "sad". The Portugal star also added that "the club know why".
There has been little more indication of what could be troubling the former Manchester United man, but the situation risks becoming a serious one for Los Blancos. And to this end, Jose Mourinho is now personally involved in solving Ronaldo’s concerns.
Benzema meanwhile is completely unaware of what the problem with Ronaldo is, though he is sure it will be resolved.
"I don’t know why he is not in a good mood. I have followed the story, but personally I have not seen a reason for it", said the Frenchman.
"Next week, however, we will address the situation. He is still a great player who has it all: the right physique, very talented, successful, has money and is one of the best players in the world.
"I don’t see how he can want more?"
