Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that the training at Juventus is of a higher intensity to anything he has experienced before in his career.

The striker is on a season-long loan with the Bianconeri from English Premier League giants Arsenal.

relatedNewsStoryBendtner, who scored for Denmark on Friday in their 1-1 draw against Bulgaria in World Cup qualifying, spent last year on loan at Sunderland and is keen to impress at Juventus to seal a permanent switch away from Arsenal.

But the 24-year-old, who has managed only one appearance in Serie A for Juventus this season, has admitted that training with the Italian champions is a step up.

"At Juve, the training sessions are much more difficult than anything I have ever experienced before", Bendtner told Danish daily Ekstra Bladet.

And the striker credits the sessions with putting him in tip top condition, even if he has not played much yet.

"I’m at the top of my game", said Bendtner.

"Even without playing I don’t need to battle against my weight.

"This has never happened to me before."

Bendtner will be hoping for chances to impress with Juventus soon, as he bids to find the back of the net on a regular basis in Serie A.
