Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has stressed the importance of the Gunners putting Schalke to the sword in the Champions League tomorrow.
Podolski has attached huge importance to the clash at the Emirates Stadium as he expects an incredibly tough match when Arsenal travel to Germany on 6th November, with Schalke on that occasion enjoying home advantage.
And so, for the Germany international, who knows all about the Bundesliga outfit, Arsenal must make their own home advantage pay tomorrow.
"Schalke is a very strong team, the strongest we will face in the group stage", the striker wrote in Arsenal’s matchday programme.
"If we can win this game we will be very well placed.
"Schalke are a good team though, they are something special at home, with their fans behind them, so we will want the three points at home."

"I know their coach, Huub Stevens, very well because he coached me for a season when I was at Koln. They will be tough to beat, but we must go for the three points."
Podolski joined Arsenal in the summer from Koln and will want to impress against his countrymen in the Champions League.
