Nicklas Bendtner has spoken of his delight at getting a full 90 minutes in Serie A under his belt with Juventus.

The Danish striker, on loan at the Bianconeri from English giants Arsenal, had struggled to earn playing time in recent weeks, clocking up just eleven minutes in the Italian top flight since arriving from the Premier League.

But Bendtner was played from the start in Juventus’ 1-0 win away at Catania on Sunday, gaining vital minutes on the pitch which are evidence of the trust the Italian club’s coach Antonio Conte and his caretaker on matchdays, Massimo Carrera, are now placing in him.

"I have not played that much, so it was good to be there from the start and to be on for 90 minutes", said the striker to Corriere dello Sport.

"I am satisfied. I played well and I did my best to contribute to the victory."

Bendtner also insisted that, despite it being early days, he is enjoying the Italian game and is impressed with the quality of Serie A.
