Barcelona have suffered a blow with the news that defender Adriano is looking at three weeks on the sidelines.
The Brazilian had to come off against Celta Vigo in the 38th minute, being replaced by Dani Alves.
Now, upon closer inspection, it has been revealed that Adriano has a torn adductor muscle and is looking at three weeks on the sidelines.
The news is a blow for Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova, who is already having to make do without Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol.
Indeed, Barcelona started with a back three of Javier Mascherano, Adriano and Jordi Alba.
Adriano joined Barcelona in 2010 from Sevilla.
