Former Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld expects his old club to make short work of French side Lille in the Champions League this evening.
The Bavarians host Rudi Garcia’s men at the Allianz Arena and have their sights squarely set on reaching the Round of 16, something for which they are currently battling other group members Valencia and BATE Borisov.
Bayern Munich, Valencia and BATE Borisov all have six points, with goal difference determining the placings at present, while Lille have lost all three of their group games so far in a campaign to forget.
Hitzfeld expects Lille’s nightmare run to continue tonight, when he believes Bayern Munich will take the opportunity to move on to nine points.
"Bayern will once again dazzle in the Allianz Arena", said the current Switzerland coach.
"I am sure of it.
"There will be no slip-ups against Lille.

After facing Lille, Bayern Munich travel to Valencia for their next Champions League clash.
The Germans finish off their group stage campaign by hosting BATE Borisov on 5th December.
