Kaka has explained that his relationship with Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is a "professional" one.
The Brazilian schemer has struggled for playing time at the Bernabeu and looked on the way out of Los Blancos over the summer, but as the transfer window closed, he was still in situ.
And Kaka has had some first team opportunities, managing to clock up four appearances in La Liga, albeit with three coming from the bench.
The 30-year-old is hopeful of earning more minutes on the pitch and has even spoken about seeing out a contract which runs until 2015.
And, back in the Brazil squad, Kaka has explained the nature of his relationship with Mourinho.
"My relationship with the coach is a very professional relationship", he told the assembled media in New Jersey, where Brazil are set to meet Colombia in a friendly.
"I respect the decisions the coach makes and he can give me the opportunity to play.
